The
Brain Injury Association of Tennessee (BIAT) was founded
25 years ago by a dedicated group of family members and
volunteers committed to creating a better future for brain
injury survivors through education and advocacy.
BIAT
is a nonprofit association, and our membership is made up
of brain injury survivors, family members, and professionals.
Today BIAT is the lead organization serving individuals,
families, and professionals who are impacted by a life-changing,
and often devastating, brain injury.
Together with our partners, BIAT provides information, education,
and support to assist the thousands of Tennesseans presently
living with brain injury and their families and supporters
BIAT
has two primary goals:
to empower brain injury survivors and their families
to reach their full potential through education, training,
and support programs.
to ensure a brighter future for brain injury survivors
and their families through awareness, prevention, and
advocacy.
The
Brain Injury Association of Tennessee is dedicated to the
prevention of brain injury and to improving the opportunities
and resources available for brain injury survivors and their
families.
If
you or someone you know has sustained a brain injury, please
call BIAT at 615.248.2541 or 1.877.757.2428. We can help
you make the connections with the people and the resources
that will make a difference.
